Bold TV, in partnership with Black Enterprise, Roker Media, GenFKD and Bookstr, announces the premiere of Bold Business, our second live-streaming, interactive, multi-platform talk show. Bold Business will provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to introduce innovative business plans, ideas, and products to their peers on a weekly basis.
Bold Business will also strive to help provide financial literacy and education to young people as they begin their careers. Each week, Bold’s audience – mostly made up of young women – will be introduced to new entrepreneurs, financial tips, and career advice.
“We’re kicking off this show with superb partners who each bring their unique perspectives to the table,” said Carrie Sheffield, Founder of Bold. “Our goal is to produce digestible business-oriented content for millennials, a demographic that is often overlooked by traditional business networks.”
Between 2011 and 2016, traditional television viewership among people between 18-24 dropped by 7.1 percent per year, and nearly 40 percent in all. That viewership has migrated to media consumption on mobile devices with social-media access. Instead of resisting the transition from traditional television to streaming platforms, Bold has taken advantage of these platforms with a more engaged, active, and growing audience. Now, Bold will apply that same concept to a more focused market in business and financial coverage.
Looking forward to seeing you on Facebook and Periscope on May 2nd at 9am ET!
